Share QuikGIF Pro with your family

Bought QuikGIF Pro on the Mac App Store? Everyone in your Apple Family Sharing group gets Pro - at no extra cost.

QuikGIF Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, and it is enabled for Apple Family Sharing. When you buy Pro through the Mac App Store, up to five family members in your Family Sharing group can unlock all Pro features on their own Macs without paying again.

How to share Pro

If your family group already has Purchase Sharing turned on, there is nothing extra to do - the purchase is shared automatically. To use it on another family member's Mac:

  1. Make sure the Mac is signed in to iCloud with an Apple Account that belongs to your Family Sharing group.
  2. Open the App Store app and install QuikGIF (search for it, or open your purchaser's shared purchases).
  3. Launch QuikGIF - it lives in the menubar. Pro features unlock automatically once the shared purchase is recognized.
  4. If Pro doesn't appear right away, click the menubar icon → Upgrade to Pro… → Restore Purchases.

Setting up Family Sharing

If you haven't set up a family group yet, the organizer can create one in System Settings → Family (or Settings → Family on iPhone/iPad) and turn on Purchase Sharing. Apple's guide walks through it: Set up Family Sharing.

Bought a direct license from quikgif.com? Family Sharing is an Apple App Store feature, so it applies to Mac App Store purchases only. A direct purchase gives you a lifetime license key that you activate on your own Macs - it is not shared through Apple Family Sharing. Need more seats? Email support@robworks.info.
